Consolidant based on ethyl silicate in an inert solvent mixture. The particular solvents allow  optimal absorption of the active ingredient  through the capillaries of the stone material until the healthy core of the stone is reached.Here, following a chemical reaction with atmospheric humidity, it transforms into  silica gel  which subsequently acts as a binder for the decohesive material without giving rise to saline by-products.

SILIETILE does not modify the breathability of the support  and does not reduce the permeability to water vapour, it does not modify the chromatic appearance of the treated materials and has a high resistance to UV rays.
