GRES PROTECTOR is a water-based product, solvent-free and “VOC 0”, based on nano-silicas and particular modified silanes. The product makes the treated materials highly water and oil repellent, giving anti-stain and dirt-repellent properties: GRES PROTECTOR protects the treated stoneware from the absorption of water, from the stains of greasy and oily substances, inks, from dirt and dust, rubber residues due to trampling and to the carting. GRES PROTECTOR facilitates the cleaning of the surfaces thus protected.

The active ingredients from which the product is made can chemically bind to the material, without creating surface films, creating an invisible and imperceptible nanometric barrier. The treated surfaces can be washed with common detergents for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, even with detergent solvents or acid or alkaline pH detergents. GRES PROTECTOR in no way alters the chromatic appearance of the treated stoneware, it is resistant to weathering, external agents and UV rays.
